The cost of building data centres is the lowest in the world, at half the cost per watt of US and Europe. India has a huge potential for power generation, particularly renewable. We are already ahead of our targets and the 3rd largest in the world. The future of data centres is likely to be undersea. India has sea on three sides and Indian territorial waters are 70% of its land. Massive geography. And we have the data of 1.5 billion people whose consumption of all goods and services is going to grow the fastest in the world. The world should invest in India given its attractiveness. At Vedanta and Sterlite, we are primary suppliers of data centre materials from optical fibre and accessories to system integration and power. These are in huge demand and short supply. Globally, companies are signing power agreements for upto 20 years for data centres. The entire data centre economy is a sunrise sector that will create massive jobs and drive India's future economy.
