ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ASI ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ 2 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ

ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਐੱਚਡੀਐੱਫਸੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਬੀਮਾ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਐਕਸ-ਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਏਐੱਸਆਈ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਏਐੱਸਆਈ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਢਿੱਲ ਨਾ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।

Hon’ble Chief Minister has announced an ex-gratia amount of ₹1 crore for his family, while an additional ₹1 crore insurance payout will be provided by HDFC Bank to his family.
